The politically incorrect song Dooley Wilson is singing in that scene is called "Shine," which had been a hit for Louis Armstrong and also for Bing Crosby with the Mills Brothers.

The item says that Jack had been stage-hopping that day.

Kinda gives Jack's radio spoof of "Casablanca" that fall, with Rochester singing "As Time Goes By," a whole new resonance, doesn't it?

Bogart earlier had guested on Jack's program as well, and Jack's European USO company in 1945 included Ingrid Bergman.
