On the 2/27/38 Jack Benny show, Kenny Baker finished singing the song "Thanks for the Memory" from the movie "The Big Broadcast of 1938," and Jack asked him who wrote the song. Kenny told him it was Leo Robin and Ralph Rainger. Jack replied, "Oh, Robin and Rainger. Say, those are the same boys who wrote 'Love in Bloom'." Jack then goes on to tell Mary how he and his violin did plenty for those two songwriters (with "Love In Bloom").
(BTW, Robin and Rainger did finally win an Academy Award -- for the song "Thanks for the Memory" at the 1939 awards ceremony.)
