I have been contacted by someone with a 1909 Maxwell, the same as one of the models that was used as Jack's Maxwell.
It was my understanding that the 1909 Maxwell was owned by a person in Waukegan, and subsequently sold to a private collector. However, it is possible that the connection between Jack and that specific car may have been apocryphal.
Does anyone know of a way to trace the history of a vintage car, perhaps based on plate number or VIN? Any information would be appreciated.
