: I was so sad to hear of the passing of dear Jinx. Mindy, if you read this, I wonder if you could tell me if the book ever got finished?? Jinx told me about it a few years ago, but I never got to follow up on it. My email if posted if you want to get in touch.

: Paul Harvey was misinformed. It was Tex McCrary who died. Jinx Falkenburg is, at this writing, still holding on to life.

: : : i heard on Paul Harvey's newscast yesterday that Jinx Falkenburg passed away...she was half of the "Tex and Jinx" breakfast show.

: : She was also part of that HILARIOUS 1940's "Mail Call" show where Jack finds himself with FOUR dates for the same evening...Jinx Falkenburg, Claudette Colbert, Paulette Goddard and Jeanne Craine.

: : On the show, Jack asked each lady to be his date at the premier of "The Horn Blows At Midnight", and each one turned him down...but then each one called back to accept and Jack was stuck!
: : In my opinion, that "Mail Call" show is as funny as any regular episode of "The Jack Benny Program"!
