Earlier in the day on a CBS news morning show, they covered Radio, news, and Early TV in more depth. My wife and I enjoyed the News show more than the actually 75th show. Also Jack was on NBC from 1932-1949, in his prime, and only came to CBS in 1949. This makes it a little harder to cover his career in the way it should be covered. I think Red Skelton, Gunsmoke, and Jack Benny should have been covered in more depth since they all lasted longer than just about anything else ever on Television. 20 years each for Red Skelton and Gunsmoke, and 15 years for Jack Benny.
: Although this recently aired program gave a fair review of the television broadcasts of the past, I thought the radio broadcasts acknowledgements were inadequate.Nothing was mentioned of the Benny radio broadcasts and the TV remembrances were only so,so. Any other thoughts?
