: : I've heard in past years that the two version of Snow White and the Seven Gangsters (April 1938 and January 1939) differ from each other by only a few words. There are a number of copies of the latter that are floating around with the date of the former.
: : Well, the two shows are noticeably different. Shlepperman plays Prince Charming in the April 1938 show, and Andy Devine and Harry Baldwin play Prince Charming in the January 1939 episode. The openings are also different.
: : So I wonder if there's a chance that there are East and West Coast versions of the January 1939 episode in circulation. Since multiple people have pointed out that they've found a few words different, I'm hoping that will be the tip-off.
: : I welcome anyone who wants to sit down with various copies of the show to do so and see if you can spot the differences. Let me know what you find!

: Sounds like a great challenge Laura :-) I'll be emailing you for more details :-)
Well... From the start of the show to the "Roll Call" in the play I've already discovered 18 differences... and perhaps there is more...
Will keep you all updated, and when finished will send the list to LL
