I did some research last Saturday at my local synagogue and talked to the historian at Adat Ari El, where Jack Benny's memorial plaque is located. I found out that the plaque was paid for by the Josefsberg family (Milt Josefsberg one of the writer of the Jack Benny Show). Milt's wife is still a member of the temple and lives in Tarzana according to the temple roster.
