A Two Part Question Regarding "The Jack Benny Program"

1) Was there anybody Jack wanted to appear on his show, and couldn't get them on? 2) Was there anybody who wanted to be on Jack's program, but he refused to have? You can explain the circumstances, if you know the reasons why. Thank you.
