Once upon a time during WW2 I heard an eppisode of the Jack Benny Program where Jack contributes his Maxwell to the "Junk Salvage Drive." Sad, I admit, but somehow Jack gets the car back later. Is any explanation for this given? Am I wrong? Does anyone else care?
