Oh. But of course!
The Lucy Show in question, "Lucy Gets Jack Benny's Account," was written by former Benny writer Milt Josefsbeg, and as a result, the whole thing plays like a regular half-hour Benny show.
Mr. Mooney, played by the incomparable Gale Gordon, asks Benny for personal information ("Social Security number?" "One." Audience: AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!)
And Mooney asks a question about any distinguishing personal marks. Jack feigns embarrassment, tells Mooney he has a tattoo, but it's kind of personal and too embarrassing to say in front of Mrs. Carmichael, so he'll have to whisper it to him.
Mooney waits a perfectly timed second, then asks, incredulously, "J-E-L-L-O?"
Audience: "AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" followed by prolonged applause.
Jack's reply: "You MUST understand. In THOSE days, sponsors were VERY hard to get!"
