FYI -- don't know if this is common knowledge, but the Internet Archive has an episode up there of the Eddie Cantor Show from December 1948 with Jack Benny.

The show is misdated. Since Ipana is a sponsor, I'm guessing the show is actually 11/25/42 since it features, Dinah Shore, Hattie McDaniel and Jack.
Cantor's sponsor in 1948 was Pabst Blue Ribbon featuring singing commercials with Harry Von Zell and The Sportsmen

I noticed the same thing as I listened to it. Definitely 1942 because Jack also talks about his new picture, "George Washington Slept Here" 
"Ship off the starboard bow!" "What kind is she?" "She's a Spanish Galleon!" "A galleon?" "Good! That's a quart for each of us!"
