More Jack Benny On Toronto's CFZM Next Week (August 2nd-5th)

I heard at the end of last night's (July 30th) edition of "Theatre Of The Mind" over Toronto radio station CFZM (740 on the AM dial) that once more, they will broadcast four episodes of "The Jack Benny Program" next week (August 2nd through 5th), one episode each evening (Monday through Thursday) from 10:30 to 11 P.M. Eastern Daylight Time.

CFZM has a huge 50,000-watt signal that should be audible in most of the Eastern United States and Eastern Canada; those outside it's signal area can go to the station's website (http://www.am740.ca) and click-on the "listen live" link at at 10:30 P.M. EDT on the appropriate night.

I don't work for CFZM, nor know of anyone who does; I just got this "heads up" and wanted to share the great news with all of you.

By the way, it's great to be able to hear Jack during the Summer. For most of his years on radio and then TV, his show was off-the-air during the Summer months.

The only years Jack was on radio during the Summer were 1932, 1934, and 1935; the only years during Jack's TV run when one could watch him during the Summer were his last two seasons, 1964 and 1965 (which were reruns of earlier telecasts)
