Not only should the kinescope/film/videotape masters be preserved, they should be digitally remastered and released in DVD sets.
Since Jack's TV shows weren't weekly until 1960, it will be possible to release two or three seasons from the 1950's together in a single set, then release five sets of the weekly shows, one for each season (1960/61 through 1964/65). Perhaps another DVD set could be released containing all his specials from 1965 through 1974.
Given the right kind of promotion, they could become big sellers and introduce a new generation to one of comedy's all-time greats.
