Next week (January 24th-27th), Toronto's CFZM will rebroadcast four "Jack Benny Program" episodes as part of their weeknight series of old-time radio shows, "Theatre Of The Mind".

These episodes can be heard from 10:30 to 11 P.M. Eastern Standard Time.

CFZM broadcasts at 740 on the AM dial, and is a powerful 50,000 watt station that at night can be heard across most of the Northeastern and Midwestern United States as well as Eastern Canada.

Again, I don't work there nor know anyone who does. But I just heard about this and wanted to share it with Jack's fans. Let's face it: "The Jack Benny Program" was the most popular show of all during the Golden Age Of Radio for one simple reason: It was extremely entertaining. And unlike many radio comedy shows of that era, Jack's shows have stood the test of time and are just as hilarious today as when they were first broadcast.
