Great news! If they continue the chronological releases, that new set should finish up the vast majority of the uncirculated episodes from the 1950s, now if they will just go back and fill in the early shows from the mid '40s.

Whoever said that comment was really and idiot ... I re-calculated and I was missing the entire 1952-1953 season in my original estimate, so it will take about three more new sets to finish off the 1950s shows, assuming the show stopped production at the end of 1953. It seems strange that they would stop mid season, so if there is a last half to the 1953-1954 season, then we would need a total of four sets to finish of the unreleased 1950s episodes.

Yes, but it's strange that the whole run of episodes from '54 is missing, and it looks like it could have been cancelled mid season.
