Kay Linaker, aka Kate Phillips, Jack's co-star in Buck Benny Rides Again has passed away at the age of 94. A long and well-lived life.

Just a personal note on that...Kate was in the audience of the recreation we did at the 39 Forever convention. Later she came up to my husband (who had played Rochester) and said something on the order of, "You were just sensational! I felt like I was really hearing Rochester!" I later reminded Dan that she had worked with THE Eddie Anderson, so that was even a bigger compliment than most.

But she sounded just like an appreciative fan at that moment, not the long-time Hollywood professional. Wonderful, wonderful lady.
