Enjoyed the clip on the front page of your site, Laura, in which Rochester informs Jack that the Maxwell has been stolen. I don't recall seeing that picture-in-picture effect in other shows... how often did they use it?

Hardly ever. On the very first TV show, you have Jack and Dinah Shore on the phone in a sort of split-screen, but you can see that they're really on the same piece of set with a wall between them and no camera tricks.
