USPS SET TO STICK US WITH 41 CENT STAMP: It may soon cost more to mail a letter. A published report says the U.S. Postal Service is expected to seek approval for an increase in postage rates of at least 10 percent early next year. The Wall Street Journal says the rise would push the price of a first-class stamp from 37 cents to at least 41 cents.

And just when I was ready to campaign hard for Jack being on a 39-cent stamp.

41 cents for a letter!? Well! Jack would undoubtedly sell his OWN 39 cent stamps to send any correspondence privately via the Rochester express!
