This Sunday night: Radio interview with Eddie Carroll

A friend of mine who hosts an OTR program sent me this note, which I pass on:

My interview with Eddie will air in three parts (I think) starting this Sunday night, at 10:00 PM Altantic time, which is 9:00 Eastern.

You can get it online by going to http://seasidefm.com/, and clicking on the ON THE AIR icon. I play half an hour of the interview, then play a Jack Benny episode.--Russell

I wonder if the host has seen the stage show... and if he'll say something like, "Wow that's really interesting how 'Thanks for the Memories' almost became Jack's theme song!"

This is a really good interview--and it's an extended one, so it's running in installments, the next one this coming Sunday night. Russell is great as an interviewer--he'll prompt Eddie with a question, and then all the wonderful show-biz stories come pouring out over the airwaves with no interruptions from the host. There are going to be a couple more installments, and if you'd like to hear about Eddie and the show (and a rebroadcast of original Jack Benny shows), I urge you to give a listen! To answer scottp's question, I've never seen Eddie's show. Actually, it was Brad who pointed me in Eddie's direction on another board we both frequent. I had a blast with Eddie, and could have kept talking to him for hours.

In case you didn't get my point, I was referring to one of several things-- purported facts-- in Eddie's show that are totally made up. Some of us see no need for that.
I had a 90% positive opinion of his show, but oh, that 10% !!!
