Classic TV eps via internet; WB's "In2TV"

Postby Alan » Mon Nov 14, 2005 6:36 pm

Caveat: I got the following "info" from a post at "quarter to three" message board;

Early next year, via an internet service called "In2TV", WB will be making available more than 100 "old" TV series (with >4800eps in 1st yr).

"Free" service to be supported by ads.

Is this info at all true/possible/confirmed?

Any speculation as to whether more than the usual suspect JB eps may be included?

I read an article that listed some of the shows that would be on offer through this service - sorry I don't have a handy link, but I think the oldest show they listed as being on offer was "Maverick" - a lot of '70s & 80s sitcoms and action stuff mostly, didn't look promising for JB. Also as an AOL/Warners project I assume it would be primarily from their catalog, and Jack's TV shows that would be licensed for something like this are mostly MCA-owned.
