Ack! Check this out Nov. 26 (today for many)

I forgot to post this earlier in the week. The Hotpoint Holiday Hour presentation of Jack Benny in "The Man Who Came to Dinner" is Sat., Nov. 26 (today for many of you if you're reading this an hour or more after I post) on WDCB-FM (90.9 in the Chicago area) and internationally on the web at http://www.cod.edu/wdcb/wdcb_online.htm.

It is part of Chuck Schaden's "Those Were the Days" radio program, and will probably be heard in the last 90 minutes or so of the show, which runs from 1:00-5:00 p.m. CST.

The show's theme is "Radio to Get into the Holiday Spirit By" and includes the following holiday-themed shows:

1) "The Great Gildersleeve" (12/1/48): Gildersleeve (Hal Peary) tries to get Leroy (Walter Tetley) a holiday job.

2) Broadway's My Beat (12/24/49): An ex-con arrives as Santa at the PAL kids party. Starring Larry Thor.

3) The Cinnamon Bear, Chapters 10-11 (1937)

4) Hotpoint Holiday Hour (12/25/49): "The Man Who Came to Dinner." Jack stars as Sheridan Whiteside. The cast includes Charles Boyer, Gene Kelly, Dorothy McGuire, Gregory Peck, and Rosalind Russell.

5) The Cinnamon Bear, Chapter 12.

If you can't catch it live, it will be available at http://www.nostalgiadigest.com/Those%20Were%20The%20Days.htm for a week starting Tuesday, Nov. 29.
