Don't put a period at the end. The link won't be clickable.

Thanks, Yth! (BTW, on my walk yesterday I listened to the "grass reek" episode and to the one that followed, which had one of those wonderful SYMMMMMMMMMMMMMpathy Soothing Syrup ads). Can anybody help an old-timer and tellme how to imbed a URL? When I hit the URL button, I get the beginning tag, like this, but with square brackets (url). I then put in the url, and I get like (url)http://www.whatever.com ; and when I hit the button again, I get the closing tag (/url). I can't see where to put in the descriptive, "click here" word, if you see what I'm driving at.

I'm a techno-peasant.

One of the comments to the blog mentions that Benny is the influence for Newhart and Jasob Bateman (from Arrested Development)

The Newhart connection is well documented, most recently in his book of course, but i also heard a newhart interview on XM satellite (~2 months ago on "Unmasked"; ~almost 1 hr interviews w/comedians) where he still always mentions JB as one of his most recognized influences.

I found the Bateman comment interesting- i'm not sure i completely agree, but it is an interesting comparison of a lead that both sets ups and responds with great timing/pacing.

Brad, put the url inside the first bracket like this - replace parentheses with brackets, obviously:

(url=http://www.google.com)Type the text you want to link text here(/url)

This info should pop up if you mouse-over the URL button.

Mr. Levine's blog is very interesting indeed.

There are alot of great 'behind the scenes" stories from his years as a TV and movie writer.

Thanks for the link. :D
