My Own Dreer Pooson/Grass Reek Moment

I'm not sure where this should go, so I'll put it here. Yesterday one of my chemistry classes, I gave an extra credit assignment for the kids to find out about "Mole Day" (which was today).
I told them that to get information, they should do a "Gurgle sooch." What I needed after that was for Frank Nelson to drop in with a wisecrack, but he wasn't available.
Mole Day?

Nowadays the minor league baseball team in Albuquerque is called the Isotopes, but they used to be the Dukes. I once heard Vin Scully refer to them as "the Albukookie Durks."
For this particular group, I suppose I should point out that the city is called
"AL-buh-kirky" not "AL-buh-kirk."

I teach English and one of my colleagues once did a Drear Pooson on a Mark Twain character.
The character was Huckleberry Finn....I leave how it actually was announced to the class to your fertile imaginations.
