OTR Cassettes

For about 20 years I collected OTR on cassettes. Then one day I bought the complete Fibber McGee and Molly run on CD as MP3 files. My collection doubled in quantity for about $15. Since then all of my new acquisitions have been MP3 files. Some of the digital files are not as good sounding as the tapes, but the quantity more than makes up for it.

What can I do with hundreds of cassettes with OTR on them? I hate the idea of just throwing them away, and that would be a lot of plastic to throw in the ground at the landfill.

I'm sure you could find someone to buy them. Or maybe donate them to the library or a retirement home. I'd take them if I had any money, along with a cassette player. Haha Almost all I have is on CD though it's not a big collection. I have a couple of the cassette collections that Sam's Club used to sell around 10-15 years ago. Not even sure where they are right now though.
