FYI: I was listening to Chuck Schaden's radio show today, and two of the shows featured were 1/17/48 episodes of "The Life of Riley" and "Truth or Consequences." The reason they were played was because of a cross-over between the shows with Ralph Edwards appearing on Riley and William Bendix (appearing in character as Riley, continuing the plot as part of a consequence) on Edwards' show.

It also just so happens that this episode of "Truth or Consequences was also the one in which the first contestants were called to try to guess the identity of "The Walking Man."
