Camden v. Roxbury

You know, that famous supreme court case?

Jack's residence on the radio and tv was pretty consistently given as being on North Camden drive, a few blocks away from his actual house on North Roxbury. I guess it makes sense not to give out his "real" street (although Jack's house was a pretty well-known site) on the air. However, I seem to recall a few stray "Roxbury" references here and there but couldn't for the life of me recall the time periods of the show when they occurred or if they were actually in reference to Jack's house.

Anyone who paid attention better than me know when the 'fictional' Jack's house got established as being on Camden, and if Roxbury was ever used on the show?

Camden was Jack's office address for a good many years, until he moved to one just south of the then-Beverly Hills Friars Club on "little" Santa Monica Boulevard (people who've been there understand...SM Blvd is a very major thoroughfare, but there's a little frontage road running parallel to it that goes by the same name).

I was just over to the office of the Benny Estate Executor recently, and suddenly discovered that Jack's office address is almost right across the street! Funny how these things fit together.

So what do I hear on the drive home last night?
November 26, 1939: Jack reads a "write up" of his Thanksgiving bash from the society page of the Beverly Hills Citizen... "Last Thursday night at his cozy home on Roxbury Drive"
There's one!
That's funny, Norman Krasna loved that joke.

Ok, I'm not crazy! Thanks! And, I didn't know Jack's office was actually on Camden either, really interesting!

Oddly enough, this topic just keeps coming up, I was listening to a Burns and Allen radio show where George gives his address as being on Camden drive. On the TV series they usually used Maple Drive, where their real house was (but, not the correct house number IIRC).

Wouldn't it be typical of George to give out Jack's office address as his house on the radio show, just on the off chance random fans might show up?
