Connie Stevens?
(I'm not sure... if it is, it's the least-cute picture of her I've ever seen.)

Well done scottp! It is Connie Stevens, star of "Wendy and Me", the rather atrocious and mercifully short-lived George Burns series, among her many other credits.

Just a heads-up, I'll be traveling the next several days and not posting photos, so anyone else who wants to take over as quizmaster, be my guest, as always!

Where (And When) Is Jack?

Postby Jhammes » Thu May 14, 2009 5:26 am

Second time effort... Where's Jack?
And, why is this noteworthy in Jack's "timeline"?

Correct. The Jack Benny Finale, occurring in what will now be (according to Conan O'Brien) the new Tonight Show studio.

Also, an ironic timeline. This show was broadcast on April 16... following America's Income Tax Day! (No wonder Jack looks so resigned :) )

Welcome back Shrimp! Let's get this rollin'
Phil's mother is seated in the left photo and his "I do declare" southern belle sister is in the right photo.

Leaping goose.
That's funny, Norman Krasna loved that joke.

Not a famous mother, or sister, but rather a daughter involved in the answer here. And her dad can be found with Jack a few pages back in this thread.

OK, here's another picture to add to the equation. This is the same couple as seen with the birthday cake, but a few years earlier. Got it now?

I remember the show with the little girl. She went up for an autograph and told Jack her name was Margaret Truman. Pictures of the real and Jack's Margaret Truman?

:!: :!: :!:

That's it Roman, Jack and Dennis pictured on the left with the late, real, Margaret Truman, and Beverly Washburn in both of the other pictures, as the mysteriously coincidental faux "Margaret Truman".

Great routine, it always makes me laugh.

Jack's playing is distracting Errol Flynn from the lovely ladies nearby... but I suppose they're a bit older than he liked anyway.
