"Who the hell picked out this key, Dennis Day?!"

Postby mjacobs » Mon Jan 17, 2005 11:11 am

On a bloopers tape, there was a moment on one of the radio episodes in which Bing Crosby and the Sportsman Quartet sing a commercial. At one point during the song, Bing has to sing in a register a little too high (apparently) for him, and he blurted out that ad-lib.

I've been searching in vain for the episode in which that incident occurred.

Can anyone help me?

That happened on March 16, 1947 (About 24 minutes into the show when they're singing "Always")
