Speedy recovery Laura!

Postby shimp scrampi » Sat Aug 13, 2005 3:32 pm

Get yourself well soon, Laura! You'll definitely be in our thoughts around here. I will even learn the "Mi sheberach" if you think it would do any good from an agnostic of the goyishe persuasion

In the meantime, get lots of well-deserved rest and we'll muddle along like the Beverly Hills Beavers without Jack for a few weeks.

And may Jack's humor definitely speed the healing. Except if you have any pain, I distinctly remember having to struggle out of bed to shut Bob Hope off the TV when I had appendicitis - NOT a good combination!

All the best wishes for a quick recuperation.

Laura,

My prayers are with you as well. Just to let you know that you are not alone, I had a small heart attack earlier this week, but I'm feeling better each day. I hope we will not lose "Jack" yet again...
Your pal,
Buck Benny

Best wishes to Laura for a speedy recovery! My wife lost her mother just this weekend, so we are distracted, but we will send prayers and good thoughts your way.

Get well soon, Laura! You have all of our best wishes here.

That 6-8 weeks is going to drag, but be patient. Your body needs time to recover. (I speak from personal experience from some surgery I had going on four years ago.)

You can bet everyone here is pulling for you.

Hey, thanks everyone for all your well-wishes. They are very much appreciated and am sure they are part of the reason that the doctors say I am recovering very well.
