Jello again,
This week I was thinking about Dennis Day's career. It would appear that he made far better choices by staying with the Benny show over the years instead leaving early like Kenny Baker did. My questions are: Wasn't the Benny show number 1 in the nation when Kenny left, what did Kenny do after he left the Benny show, and What years did Kenny appear on the Fred Allen Show?
Now over to Dennis. Dennis seemed to be on a career high in the early 1950's. His radio show was converted to a TV show, but it only lasted a couple of years - was the premise the same as the radio show? He starred in a movie or two about this time, but after 1955 and the end of the Benny radio show his career seemed to dry up. Was he featured often on the Jack Benny TV Program after 1955? He would seem to be more available.
