Recent Joan Benny Interview

Postby dan hollis » Tue May 30, 2006 8:54 am

Hello-I'm new to this forum and look foward to communicating with all of those fellow Jack Benny fanatics out there. I just wanted to let you know I co-host a radio program called "Time Travel" here in New Jersey which is also webstreamed over the internet. Just this past Friday(5/26) my collegue Jeff and I had an opportunity to interview Joan Benny live on the air and talk about one of my all-time favorites, her father Jack. Joan was a great guest and we hope to have her on again...We should have this interview up on our sight soon. Go to WRNJ.COM, click on the Time Travel logo on the lower right and then go to archived shows. Again, we hope to have the interview with Joan up real soon so keep checking back. While there you can also listen to some other recent interviews we did with Fred Flintstone, Noel Blanc, Scott Shaw and June Foray. Look forward to communicating with you and if by chance you get to listen to the Joan Benny interview, let me know your thoughts.
-All the Best, Dan Hollis

Dan, see if you can interview Eddie Carroll some time. He did a terrific hour-long interview with a local radio station here prior to his one-man-show appearance!

Thanks for the heads up Brad...Any chance Eddie may take his show to N.Y.C.? I saw Frank Gorshin (God rest his soul) perform as George Burns a few years back there. He was DEAD on, you'd sware it was the real George Burns. Plus there was a lot of Jack Benny related bits in that show.
-Best, Dan
