Oh, Brother! Here I was thinking LL was going to let us in on some scandalous news that some Benny grandkid became a Chippendale dancer, or that Waukegan's fire department was in such dire financial straits they had to turn to softcore calendar fundraising...

Of course that should be Betty and Barney Rubble! Interesting how the board seems to be totally random as to whether it lets me edit a post or not!

Is that three of the Sportsmen Quartet, or something that sounds like it? Was recently mentioned here on the Forum, I think.

On the right track but maybe not enough for full credit! Yep, a forum member posted about this not too long ago, but there's even a little more of a Jack Benny connection than that post mentioned!

Oops, sorry I let this one brew for so long! This is from JACK'S BIG MUSIC SHOW, a pre-school music appreciation program on the Noggin channel. The show's creators named the characters after the Benny cast. Left to right, that's Mel (the dog), Jack, and Mary. As Jhammes noted in a post some months back, the show also features the "Schwartzman Quartet"!

Well, that picture has Lucille Ball, but I don't recognize the other person.
Was this a "Lucy Show", or "Here's Lucy", featuring Jack?
(By the way, thank you for the "Jack's Big Music Show" tip. I don't know why I did not pick up on the other character's names: I DID know that anyone familiar with The Sportsman Quartet HAD to know Jack Benny!)
