Lung cancer?

Postby DerekVOF » Tue Jul 04, 2006 11:37 am

OK -- I'm a bit confused. I hopped over to TobaccoDocuments.org because I remember reading at one point that they had some of the Lucky Strikes scripts up there. I did a search for Jack Benny and found this:

http://roswell.tobaccodocuments.org/pages/benny.htm

Looks like they're claiming Jack died of lung cancer, but I'm sure I read he died of pancreatic cancer. I know that smoking may influence pancreatic cancer but I don't think "smoking = pancreatic cancer" like "smoking = lung cancer" I'm not saying tobacco is bad, but I do think they're stretching things here...

So, did Jack die of lung cancer or pancreatic cancer? The website is "roswell.tobaccodocuments.org" -- is this another Roswell-government cover-up? :)
"Ship off the starboard bow!" "What kind is she?" "She's a Spanish Galleon!" "A galleon?" "Good! That's a quart for each of us!"

Pancreatic cancer, and he didn't smoke cigarettes. Cigars, yes. Mary smoked, so I suppose a second-hand smoke case could be made. But not for the pancreas, I don't think.
