And unfortunately it appears that I'm not going to make this month's chat even though I really enjoyed the program of the month. A local minor league ball club, the Kane County Cougars (an A's affiliate) just advanced tonight into the second round of playoffs, and I have tickets for all of their home playoff games. Naturally the first home game of the second round is Sunday evening.

Don't fret. Next year's Kane County team played here this year. You'll have plenty of time for chat in 2007 because they won't be anywhere near the playoffs.

BTW, having covered the PCL once upon a time, I get a kick out of the few Benny radio references to the Hollywood Stars.
