Dorothy Collins and...?

Postby Yhtapmys » Sat May 19, 2007 11:55 pm

I've just finished listening again to one of my favourite Benny shows (29 October 1950) and was wondering something about the jingle vocalists.

I know Dorothy Collins is the female vocalist. Is Snooky Lanson the male one?

This programme really has some great bits. Mel Blanc as the talking dog, Mary screwing up Rochester's name and a great ad-lib response by Jack, Ronnie Colman being disdainful, Jack being a moron about Tums, Benita saying "schlemiel," Joe Kearns. And "Be Happy, Go Lucky!" How can you not love it?
