It aired down here in GA a couple of weeks ago: it's a 1992 HBO special, narrated by Tommy Smothers, with some great interview pieces (Johnny Carson and George Burns, Joan Benny, Gisele McKenzie (telling how Jack got her a spot on "Your Hit Parade") and manyothers. Neat show, worth seeing!

And we've had it in the video library for a while. Nice show. They called me back in 1991 looking for lobby cards for it. I could help them with that a lot more today.

Turns out I do have "Comedy In Bloom" from the PBS Broadcast about 15 years ago..It is being transferred to DVD as I type..

"Comedy in Bloom" was on again last night on WTTW in Chicago. I watched it again. I will watch it whenever they repeat it. It's that good.
