Thank you. I bought Sheldon Leonard's autobiography about a month before he died. He really did shape a lot of the television I grew up with. I have been enjoying the youtube videos since reading this thread.

When Mr. Leonard was asked to give brief descriptions of people with whom he had worked he first asked about George Burns then Jack Benny. To George Burns' name he replied, "witty." The word he chose to describe Jack Benny was "integrity."

What's somewhat remarkable is in all the interviews I've read, no one has ever said a bad word about Jack. Not one.
