Just heard about the passing of Isaac Hayes. He appeared on Jack's First Farewell special, complete with gold chains and shirtless. There has been much discussion about Jack interacting with pop groups "beyond" his own time, and this interaction is definitely one of my personal favorites, with Jack in his usual special tuxedo sitting on a piano bench with the comparatively intimidating Hayes.

Make up your own lyrics to "Shaft" substituting "Jack"...
