a question about an unnamed actor in radio show

Postby mjacobs » Wed Jan 19, 2005 9:20 pm

In the '30s episodes, Jack's show would often be interrupted by a knock at the door, followed by a man who after entering would, for example, ask, "Mr. Benny, is Phil Harris going to sing '3 Itty Fishies'?" Then when Jack replies, "No, and who are you?", this actor replies, "Just a hungry college boy," and leaves.

Anybody know who this actor is/was?

That's Harry Baldwin, who was Jack's personal secretary.
