Close enough for government work! That's Sheldon Leonard, not in DAUGHTER OF THE JUNGLE, but the tender, coming-of-age art film ZOMBIES ON BROADWAY.

Ha ha ha!

I thought the eyes looked like him, so I checked his IMDB entry for any 1940s voodoo flicks. I saw the Zombie one first, but I thought his get-up was more jungle-rific than un-dead, despite, upon reflection, the very zombie-like pose.
