Anyone keeping up with the exciting news of some lost films being found lately?

This article discusses finding 75 films in a New Zealand vault, including a silent John Ford film and an early film of Clara Bow's.

Shortly after this discovery was made, a Charlie Chaplin film appearance was discovered in a Michigan antique sale.

I think it's amazing that this stuff is out there still. Wonder how many more there are. Certainly you'd never think you'd find American films in New Zealand. At least I never would have thought of it.

Supposedly there are some Tom Mix silent movies in a Czech Government library that do not exist anywhere else. They will not release them, either.
