In the episode where Jack learns from his sister Florence that he's 39 years of age, and he receives that telegram from his sister --

---- who played the guy who delivered the telegram?

I believe I also heard his voice on the episode where Jack dates Gladys Obispo, the "lady plumber," and takes her into a restaurant. I remember that actor played the restaurant manager.

Anybody know who this actor is?

It was..............MY HUSBAND! (Well, that's who played him in our recreation of the script at the 39 Forever convention.)

It looks like the character existed only in the 1954 version of the show, as the 1949 version has Don just saying that a telegram arrived. I can give you a name, but I don't know if it's a first or last name. It's Ryan. Does that help?
