Just heard another one today. 2-20-38, Jack (as usual) refuses to give his age but Phil "guesses" 44.

This may be a bit off the subject, but I heard a show the other day where Jack tells his real name. Don't remember the date, but Phil talks about Robert Taylor taking his place on something, and mentions that Taylor's real name is Spangler Arlington Brugh. Jack says, 'So what, my right name's Benny Kubelsky'. Sounded like an ad lib and got a big laugh.
"Hey, Jackson, does Fred Allen always talk through his nose?"
"Yes, Phil. He's the only comedian who tells 'em and smells 'em at the same time!"
