Antenna TV is showing the Burns and Allen TV Show, and the episode I watched today featured Sheldon Leonard doing a riff on hisTout/Grogan bit from the Benny/Harris shows. It was so much fun to see him doing a version of his radio characters. It was a fun episode all the way around, you might want to start tuning in.

Sheldon Leonard played the tout on an episode of THE ANDY GRIFFITH SHOW... sorta....
The 2nd season DVDs include the episodes' Sanka/Post cast commercials. The commercial for "The Bookie Barber" has the tout outside Floyd's barbershop, promoting Sanka Instant Coffee to Sheriff Andy Taylor. (Sheldon was TAGS' executive producer.)

Websters should print a picture of Sheldon Leonard in the dictionary under "tout". I've never seen a tout but they must look like Sheldon Leonard.
You ain't seen the last of Ernest T. Bass
That's funny, Norman Krasna loved that joke.
